Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch square pan.
  • Cream butter and sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Dissolve soda in sour cream and add it to butter mixture
  • beat well. Mix in mashed bananas
  • add cake flour and mix until just incorporated. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
